Crow

There was a girl who's eyes shone as copiously as a full crow moon. The crows, the caws divulge another winter's end. With a spry charcoaled sweep her skin greets the earth. Black feathered wings she let lie atop the tree, shedding the somber, static months. Brushing off the remnants, the moss, twigs, soil of the nest. The equinox dressed her naked frame in white, and the sun's winds wrapped a crown of fiery petals around her head. And the spirits whispered her path: She was told she would wander as freely as the wind.
